A Dunblane law firm has helped raise £2,000 for a local charity supporting people in crisis after taking part in a community Will-writing campaign.

Bartys, a branch of Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) based in Dunblane, participated in the Forthgiving Will Campaign, encouraging local people to put their affairs in order while making a meaningful difference to vulnerable individuals and families across Forth Valley.

The initiative invited people to have professionally prepared Wills drafted by participating solicitors in return for a charitable donation instead of a standard legal fee. The campaign has now raised £2,000 for Forthgiving, helping the charity continue providing small but vital grants to people experiencing financial hardship.

Mirella Marchini, Partner and Head of WJM's Dunblane office, said: "We're delighted to have supported this year's Forthgiving Will Campaign and to have helped raise £2,000 for such a worthwhile cause.

"Making a Will is one of the most important steps people can take to protect those closest to them, so it's fantastic that the campaign has enabled people to do exactly that while also supporting individuals and families facing difficult circumstances across our local communities.

"The generosity shown by everyone who took part demonstrates the real impact that local initiatives like this can have, and we'd like to thank everyone who chose to support the campaign."

Forthgiving supports individuals and families across Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire by providing small grants to help cover essential costs including household goods, heating, food, clothing and other urgent everyday needs.

The campaign forms part of WJM's ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates through initiatives that combine expert legal advice with meaningful charitable impact.
