Our market leading Commercial Property team has been strengthened by the appointment of the well-known property industry specialist, Neil Darling, as a Partner. Neil joins the firm from DWF and will be based in WJM’s Edinburgh office.

Announcing the appointment, Colin Brass, who heads WJM’s Commercial Property team, said, “We are delighted to have attracted someone of Neil’s calibre to join the team. Neil has extensive experience of acting for property owners, managers, banks and investors throughout the UK across a range of industries and sectors where he deals with finance, sales and acquisitions, commercial developments and the leasing of commercial premises in addition to his significant experience and expertise in forestry and agricultural matters.”

“It is busy and exciting time for WJM’s Commercial Property team. We have been successful in winning business and in helping our clients, old and new, to develop their commercial property portfolios. With Neil in the team, we are looking forward to building on those successes and continuing to grow in the marketplace.”

WJM’s Chief Executive Liam Entwistle said “Commercial Property is one of WJM’s key disciplines, supporting our important sector strategies from Energy through Licensed Trade to Agriculture and Rural. Our Client Centric strategy is bearing real fruit and we are seeing growth across the firm.
