We all dread returning to our car to find a parking ticket fixed to the windscreen. Recently one woman in Dundee received a shock after being taken to court by a private parking firm. She hadn’t paid more than 200 parking penalties, thinking they were unenforceable. The Sheriff Court disagreed with her and told her she had to pay £24,500 to the parking firm. WJM’s Andrew Pattie explains more about the case and what its implications might be for drivers in the future.
