WJM Supports Renewables Conference

WJM are delighted to announce our participation as joint sponsors of the "People and Place" pillar of Scottish Renewables' annual Conference, Exhibition and Dinner.
Taking place over 2 days on 24 and 25 March 2015, the Exhibition will address the key issues and current themes facing the renewables industry in Scotland, an industry in which WJM continues to be a market leader.
WJM's Head of Renewables, Fraser Gillies, said "Our sponsorship of the 'People and Place' pillar is an excellent opportunity to showcase our experience in the renewables industry and to share our insight in to some of the issues our clients are facing.
At the heart of 'People and Place' are plenary sessions on Community Renewables, and planning for successful, sustainable developments. Fraser Gillies will be speaking on planning issues, providing an update following his presentation at the Scottish Renewables onshore wind conference in June 2014. Ken Long will be speaking on financing and structuring community investment in to renewables project. WJM will also be represented on the panel session.
Fraser continued "We are delighted to be co-sponsoring this event along with Smartest Energy, whom we know very well. We are working closely with them and with Scottish Renewables on the planning for this event and are confident it will be an excellent and timely event as we look ahead to the future of the renewables industry in Scotland.
