WJM Solicitor Rises Through Ranks at WJM as She Gains Senior Associate Promotion

Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP has announced the promotion of Amy Howard to Senior Associate.

Amy, who works out of the Glasgow office in the firm’s renowned planning team, starts her new role this week as she continues to rise through the ranks at WJM.

The renewable energy project planning specialist started with the firm as a trainee back in 2017 and has made quick progress to rise to her current position, becoming an invaluable team member at their St Vincent Plaza base.

Fraser Gillies, Managing Partner at WJM, who also sits on the planning team, said: “This is yet another well deserved promotion for Amy as she continues to demonstrate her skill and talent.

“She is a valuable part of our team and another excellent example of the firm developing talent from within as we strive to grow together moving through 2025.

“Amy has become a trusted go-to member of the team for many of our key clients and a great help to Nicola Martin and I as the team grows, during what is a busy time in the sector.

“She is also developing her own profile in the industry, as well as doing a great job looking after some very significant and complex pieces of work for our wind farm developer client base, and her promotion is very well deserved.

“I would like to wish Amy all the very best of luck in her new role and have absolutely no doubts she’ll be able to rise to the occasion.”
