WJM Ranked in Legal Guides

We're feeling somewhat proud of ourselves!
WJM has achieved a number of rankings in the Legal500 and Chambers guides to the legal profession. These guides, published annually, list the go-to lawyers across a range of practice areas, and we're delighted to say that a number of WJM's people have been included in this year's lists.
In particular:-
- Angus Macleod (Franchising) – described as having "vast expertise and breadth of knowledge in the franchising space”.
- Susan Hoyle (Tax and Employee Share Schemes and Incentives) – described as being a "technically able practitioner".
- Fraser Gillies (Planning) - clients say that he "provides helpful and strategic advice", that he has "insightful knowledge of Scottish planning legislation", and that he is "widely respected as a leading renewable energy lawyer".
- Ken Long (Corporate / M&A) - clients say "He really got to grips with the complexities of the deal. He has been outstanding" and that he is "hard-working and experienced."
- Alan Simpson (Energy & Natural Resources) - described as having "an inordinate amount of expertise".
- Martin O’Neill (Franchising) – listed as a Star Associate, who is "proactive and patient", with "extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to franchising matters and a willingness to go the extra mile".
In addition, WJM's teams in Franchising, Energy, Planning, Agriculture & Rural Property, Corporate / M&A, Personal Tax & Executries, Leisure & Hospitality, and Real Estate / Commercial Property are also commended.
We've invested considerable effort in ensuring that our services and people are top notch, and to have that recognised by the authoritative guides to the legal profession makes all of that worthwhile.
