WJM and DCS recognised in Chambers UK Legal Guide 2026

We’re proud to feature once again in the Chambers UK Legal Guide.

Along with our colleagues at Davidson Chalmers Stewart, multiple practice areas and individual lawyers have achieved recognition in the 2026 rankings.

Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie has been recognised for Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions, Energy, Franchising, Planning and Environment, and Real Estate.

Renewables and Commercial Property expert Esme Macfarlane – now a Partner with the firm – was recognised as an Associate to Watch, an accolade which is awarded in recognition of significant contribution in major matters or deals.

Head of Family Law, Amanda Masson, achieved a Spotlight for Family Mediators; while Band 1 rankings were awarded to Head of our Inverness office, Angus MacLeod, and commercial contract and corporate specialist Martin O’Neill.

Managing Partner Fraser Gillies, Kenneth Long, Nicola Martin and Alan Munro were also recognised.

Davidson Chalmers Stewart has been recognised in the Chambers Ranking for the 14th year running and is celebrating rankings across several sectors, including Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Construction, Corporate / M&A, Healthcare, and Planning and Environment.

Chair Andrew Chalmers was recognised as an Eminent Practitioner, while Band 1 recognition was achieved by Partner Andy Drane as Head Of Partnership: Medical, and Sheila Webster for Real Estate Litigation.

Individual rankings were also secured by Managing Partner Laura Irvine, Craig Stirling, Arveen Arabshahi, Nathan Adam, Stuart Duncan, Laura Tainsh, Gavin Maclean, Bruce Lancaster, Lizzy Enayati and Lisa Kitson.
