Royal National Mòd Closes for Another Year as WJM Celebrates Continued Sponsorship of Gold Medal Events

Scotland’s biggest celebration of Gaelic culture has come to a close for another year, and we are delighted to have played a part in proceedings through event sponsorship.
Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie has been an official partner of the Royal National Mòd for more than a decade and we continued our sponsorship of the men’s and women’s Traditional Gold Medal events for the 2025 Mòd which has been hailed as a huge success.
This year’s winners of the events, which took place in Lochaber, were Donnchadh MacLeòid and Màiri Callan.
Partner and Head of the Inverness office, Angus MacLeod, who is a former gold medal winner himself, says the partnership and the firm’s connection to the Gaelic community is stronger than ever.
The firm recently announced a renewal of its contract with Gaelic media public body MG ALBA until 2028 and has also been involved with schemes such as Highlands and Islands Enterprise’s Gaelic Business Accelerator Programme, Cruthachadh Chothroman.
Angus said: “The Mòd is not only a hugely important event in the Scottish calendar, but one of great significance for our firm too.
“We have been proud partners for many years now and hope to continue to build that connection, as well as strengthen our practice working with the Gaelic community.
“Congratulations to all this year’s winners in what was a stellar week-long event in Lochaber.”
