Exhibition Celebrates Success as WJM Unveils New Glasgow Office

Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie celebrated the official opening of its new Glasgow office with an exhibition reflecting on landmark legal cases across its 165-year history.

More than 100 business leaders from a range of industries attended the recent launch event at our cutting-edge office space in St Vincent Plaza.

The event theme was “150 to 319” in recognition of the fact WJM has occupied various St Vincent Street addresses over the years, including the famous Anchor Line building. A ribbon cut was carried out by one of our longest-standing clients, whose family have utilised our experts for generations.

Fraser Gillies, Managing Partner, said: “Our bright and modern new office has panoramic views over the city and heralds an exciting new chapter for WJM.

“We welcomed the opportunity to showcase it to our clients, give them a tour, and crucially to reflect on and celebrate all we have accomplished to-date.”

The exhibition highlights an array of high-profile cases and pivotal moments for WJM.

These include WJM’s work with the Roslin Institute when Dolly the Sheep was cloned, overseeing the rollout of telecommunications network infrastructure throughout Scotland, and more recently its involvement in Space Hub Sutherland which marked a new frontier for WJM’s property advisers.

It also highlights the firm’s commitment to supporting local communities through sponsorships and fundraising.
