As part of the Wealth Planning team, I work closely with our administrators, advisers and my fellow paraplanners to create and deliver clearly written, properly researched financial planning reports to clients.
I advise on a wide range of subjects covering investments, pensions, trusts and inheritance tax planning.
I conduct research into the financial products and the services we recommend to clients to ensure they remain competitive, compliant and fit for purpose.
This might include delivering good news about your investment portfolio, explaining why a particular holding should be replaced or increased or advising you how to make the most of tax-free allowances such as Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs).
The governing legislation of the financial services industry is constantly changing and keeping up to date and informing clients of relevant changes poses a constant challenge.
Our Wealth Planning clients receive an ongoing service, rather than a one-off transaction. As part of that, I regularly prepare investment reviews, suitability reports and recommendation reports for clients.
I have also been involved in reviewing client investments and pensions to keep them on track and up dated. There is no 'typical' investment client and each report is individually prepared to reflect and address your needs and appetite for risk.
It is a great feeling to see an investment or portfolio meeting a client's needs, perhaps by generating a tax-free income or achieving tax-efficient growth to fund their hard-earned retirement.
