Our People

I am an insolvency litigation lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in representing clients in Courts across Scotland.

I have a broad practice in both personal and corporate insolvency, acting for creditors and insolvency practitioners.

Where an insolvency process is the best option, I work hand in glove with insolvency practitioners to provide a cradle to grave service, assisting with any matters arising, from initial appointments (both contentious and uncontentious), through technical applications such as for remuneration, early dissolution of insolvent companies, block transfers and curing procedural defects, and advising and litigating on asset recovery, including challenges to alienations, preferences and misfeasance applications.

“Alan is very commercial and focused on what is best for a practical solution.”

“Alan is an accomplished performer who always goes the extra mile for his clients.”
