Welcome to the website of Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP’s ” no collection, no fee” debt recovery service called Midas Credit Management. In this site, you will find out some information about us and about what we do, and about our market leading product.

However, this site is much more than a “shop window” for our services. Here, you will find pages of advice about your options for recovering debts which are owed to you, including detailed information about court processes and enforcement options. You will also find advice on setting an effective and workable credit control policy. We will always give you easy access to information on our costs.

Our (unofficial!) motto reflects our overriding aim to help you recover money you are owed:-

In short, until money comes in the door, you can be as “profitable” as you like, but you won’t be able to pay wages, heating, suppliers, or (whisper it) lawyers. Our principal aim is to help get the cash through your door, where it belongs. We have developed our Midas Credit Management service to achieve that in the most effective way - if you instruct Midas Credit Management and we do not recover cash for you, you won’t have to pay us a penny. Welcome to Midas Credit Management
Our Midas Credit Management service has been developed with one aim in mind - to help you increase your cash flow by managing your invoices and recovering the debts owed to you by slow payers.

As seen elsewhere on the site, in our section on Credit Control, having a sound credit control policy is essential - right from the start of your relationship with your customer, you need to have good contracting principles in place.

However, after they are a customer, you also have to make sure that no single customer makes up too high a percentage of your outstanding ledger, and most importantly, that no customers slip into “slow payer” status (or worse - “no payer”). This process of managing your customer ledger and your outstanding invoices is part of credit control, but requires attention devoted to it on its own.

We provide that attention. We have developed a system, Midas Credit Management, which draws on our years of experience in chasing debts for clients through non-court methods.
