We have 20 partners, 47 other professional staff and 44 support staff, working together in offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. From here you can put faces to names.

Our relationship with each other and with WJM’s clients is built on trust and respect. We enjoy learning new ideas and striving to apply our knowledge to help you to achieve what you want for yourself, your loved ones, your business and your community.

We enjoy working in WJM rather than other law firms because of our values and vision, because it’s challenging and because it’s fun. Law is a serious business, but the WJM Social Committee and our in-house satirical publication ‘Aye Wright! Johnston!’ makes sure that we aren’t allowed to take ourselves too seriously.

I work Renewable Energy and Commercial Property Teams.

core skills

As part of my role in the Renewable Energy Team, I work with developers and other members of the team in both the negotiation and drafting of option agreements and leases in respect of onshore wind farms.  I have also been involved in a number of large scale hydro projects and am developing my interest in the hydro sector by currently sitting on the Scottish Renewables Hydro Working Group.

My background prior to joining the Energy Team was in commercial property, and I continue to work in this area by assisting our clients with all aspects of property law including acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, commercial leasing, and commercial securities.

there’s more to me

I enjoy keeping fit and play for a netball team who currently compete in the Glasgow Netball League. I also enjoy shopping, particularly for shoes and have an ever-growing selection under my desk at work for all eventualities.
