For employers, who have faced a serial litigant in an Employment Tribunal, there is welcome news. The Employment Appeal Tribunal has indicated that serial litigants who abuse the Tribunal system for their own gains, may become liable for costs.

The Bribery Act is wide ranging and gives the UK some of the toughest anti-corruption legislation in the world. However, a consequence is that long accepted hospitality and gift practices may now, in some circumstances, amount to bribery leaving employees and their employers open to allegations of bribery.
The Equality Act is a key piece of legislation which is designed to make the law on discrimination simpler and easier to understand through condensing nine pieces of legislation into one Act.
