Renewables - meet the team
WJM is continuing its upbeat mood as we move into spring. Two new partners, Andy McFarlane and Fraser Gillies were appointed on 1st February. Changes in the firm also saw Ken McCracken appointed as Chief Executive with Graham Bell as his Deputy; and Andy McFarlane take over as Head of the Energy Team.
We’ve also been expanding overseas through our spin-out company, Family Business Solutions, who are now working in collaboration on the island of Malta. One thing we can’t get away from, however hard we might try, is the pending General Election and you’ll find articles from Susan Hoyle and Ian Ody looking at prudent pre-election planning.
Owners of holiday homes who let them as furnished holiday lets, will find a “must read” article by Susan Hoyle outlining how tax changes could affect them.

Whilst we can’t help you with losing weight, getting fit or learning a language, we can offer a simple, cost-effective method of helping you manage your investments through our Personal Wealth Planning service. We also comment on the duty of care on contractors when clearing sites, see how the new 50% tax rate will hit top earners and how landlords need pay close attention to minor contract clauses.
