“Everyone who owns their own business, or who is in business with their family, knows it is impossible to keep their business life entirely separate from their personal or family life. Decisions about starting the business (usually with your own or family capital), employing your family and retirement planning will rarely be just business decisions. The same goes for many families who do not share ownership of a business but who remain connected with their relatives through the ownership and enjoyment of other assets - for example, property, investments, collections and leisure assets. For the simple and profound reason that most of the big decisions are encountered at the point where business and life come together, we have called this new magazine, Business and Life.”
